Job Description: Cook

The Anchor Inn has and immediate vacant position for a line cook in Georgie's Restaurant. Available for the 2017 season.

You'll be working as part of a kitchen team and cook breakfast and dinner. The position is immediately available until the end of October 2017. Reporting to the chef and you can accumulate hours towards the Canada Red Seal designation.

Job duties include:

  • Daily food preparation

  • Line cooking during dinner service, including proteins, salads and appetizers

  • Line cooking for breakfast 
  • Ensure proper flow of food out of the kitchen

  • Dessert preparation

  • General cleaning of workstations in kitchen


  • Diploma from a recognized commercial cooking program

  • Food safety training, first aid training

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience will be an advantage

  • Enjoys creating a food adventure for guests with attention to flavour, freshness and presentation
