Job Description: Cook

The Anchor Inn has and immediate vacant position for a line cook in Georgie's Restaurant. Available for the 2017 season.

You'll be working as part of a kitchen team and cook breakfast and/or dinner. The position is immediately available until the end of October 2017.

Job duties include:

  • Daily food preparation

  • Line cooking during dinner service, including proteins, salads and appetizers

  • Breakfast shifts
  • Ensure proper flow of food out of the kitchen

  • Dessert preparation

  • General cleaning of workstations in kitchen

  • Receiving supplier orders

Qualifications:

  • Diploma from a recognized commercial cooking program

  • Food safety training, first aid training

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience will be an advantage


Personal Attributes:

  • Physially healthy, fit and energetic

  • Enjoys creating a food adventure for guests with attention to flavour, freshness and presentation

  • Team player
