How to be a Newfoundlander

Everything you need to know to become a true Newfoundlander! A fast-paced and comedic instructional course that gives you a taste of our music, history, geography, language arts, and we'll ever throw in our official Newfoundland Spelling Bee. A fun interactive way to discover Newfoundland and Labrador.

Rants and Reels

A Brand new traditional Newfoundland music performance.  Hear the stories and sounds of the fiddle, viola, mandolin, guitar & bodhran.

Music is an essential component of any culture and for the men and women who learned to fish along this treacherous coast, farm between rocks, and bravely traverse the arctic ice each Spring, it was no different. The joy, laughter, pain, loss, and love, experienced by the men and women who made a home on this "Rock" in the Atlantic Ocean can be found in the songs we sing and the tales we tell.

Rants and Reels will give the audience a chance to share in an evening of unforgettable music and storytelling from some of Newfoundland's fastest rising folk artists. For those who want to experience some of the finest music this province has to offer, this is the show for you.
